WELCOME TO UTOPIA

SYNDICATE: Utopian Dream is a mod for an unknown singleplayer and multiplayer First Person Shooter set in a future world dominated by a multinational corporation known as the Syndicate who control the population through computer chips inserted in their brains.

The syndicate achieved worldwide domination after years of scheming, plotting, assassinations and destruction: whatever it took to bring down competing syndicates and achieve their aim of total domination. Having achieved that goal the Syndicate have maintained an oppressive peace but they haven't been idle. Not only have they been upgrading the computer control Chips embedded in people's brains, but they have also set up a research team to find out how they can utilise more of the brains they control.

Already through these chips the Syndicate are able to distort percieved reality, making the population believe that they live in a perfect world devoid of crime, antisocial behaviour, greed or envy - a perfect utopia.

At the start of the game a malfunction in the chip inserted in your brain reveals the grim reality - not a perfect utopia but a world driven by greed, exploitation and subjugation. However your freedom doesnt go unnoticed and agents are sent to intercept you before the malfunction can spread. As you begin to discover the overwhelming power of the Syndicate, their current actions to subdue the populace and plans to further exploit them you are faced with the might of the syndicate, their police and their agents.

Suddenly utopia is just a distant dream.
